My trip to Tanzania was a memorable one. I think that everyone needs to see the African wildlife through your own eyes, is unlike anything else. Everything is special here: great reserves with unusual trees and unique animals, mode of life of Tanzanians and snowbound peak of Kilimanjaro. So interesting to watch the animals in their natural habitat. They do not pay attention to observers and doing their own things: eat, sleep, hunt, mate and breed – I was able to see all of it and took pictures of the camera :) Honestly, there are a lot of different type of exotic animals. They are different, some species coexist together. Guides were talking with each other and pass the information where some of them noticed an interesting animal, so we were able to see all the animals that have been at this point in the park. My hotel was almost in the city center, which gave me a chance to walk along the streets and look at the lives of Tanzanians. In spite of my poor English I managed to talk with some locals, although they all wanted to sale useless stuff to me. :) However, they gave up after one or two refusals and then just agreed to chat with me. Of course the impression would be incomplete without climbing. Going uphill for 5 days was not only a good challenge, but also a fascinating journey through an unusual area with unique flora and fauna. On the day of the summit we had a trek for about 4-5 hours to the summit camp, then rest, and at night climb about 6-7 hours. It was not easy, but not too hard. The feeling that you are with every meter closer to the highest point of Africa, gave strength. When I saw in the distance a cherished plate, broke into a smile and tiredness disappeared. At the approach I took the camera out and filmed the moment of summiting the peak. I remember that I cried as if conquered Everest :) Read more

Dear Altezza Travel team! Thank you very much for the organization of the climb Kilimanjaro in February 2016. Everything was prepared at the highest level. Though Rongai route is rather difficult (comparing with others routes), everything ran according to plan. This route was desert because of its complexity, so I could admire African views without others tourists. The high-altitude acclimatization was a success, due to your recommendations, my physical training was in conformity with the requirements. Drivers, guides and porters worked perfectly. Employees and administration of Altezza company took swift action in response to our demands including individual requirements and wishes. They have always been in touch. I was pleasantly surprised by European style of doing business and customer focus of company in such country as Tanzania with an absolutely different mentality and a local color. Thank you very much for your great work. See you again! Read more

My two-weeks adventure in Africa is over! All stuff are unpacked, and all the impressions, more or less , arranged on the shelves. The trip was more than spontaneous, I was traveling alone, and my knowledge of the language was so poor and little, however with Altezza Travel I did not even think about difficulties and organizational matters, only admired the local scenery and enjoyed the adventure! :-) Usually, I’m planning the journey by myself, during the process you often realize that something is missing. But when I have returned from this trip, I understand that more intensely and perfectly I would not travel! I joined the group of wonderful people, terribly miss them now, and the service was so great that I would not change a thing! Despite the fact that the ascent itself was challenging, the whole group summited, and we would not do it without help of our professional guides, who followed our needs, speed, health, supported and helped, and even forced, for example, to eat or to sleep when it is needed, and during the summit never left us alone. Tanzania safari, I have to say, is not only exotic animals in their natural environment and African landscapes, but also fine hotels and beer in the evening  Thank you so much for such a fabulous trip! ^^ Read more
